hi all, Here is the situation. We are currently upgrading our infrastructure to use LDAP as our authentication mechanism and I intend to also have Samba look at LDAP. I have quite a few entries in /var/log/messages for connection attempts. Is there anything other than ignoring them I can do? Example is below. When I type the user name and password to logon onto our network (samba is the pdc) it takes a long time to login. How can I go about speeding this up? Is it a Win Xp issue or do I need to tweak samba?
