RC8 failing...
...mail_env value, however, I believe mine is fine:
mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%1u/%1.1u/%u
This is for an actual mailbox with a two character hash for the
maildrop directory.
I was looking forward to giving RC8 a spin, but I've had to revert
back to RC7 for now.
Thanks in advance.

IAXy echo avoidance/cancellation
Ok, I searched the lists and found no definitive answer. I'm assuming
the IAXy has some primitive form of echo cancel, is there anyway to
adjust this? Or any ideas on what to do instead. Here's the setup, this
will not be a typical setup for our company however, well whatever.
Anyway it looks like this:
IAXy --> Netgear router --> Charter --> Level3 --> Asterisk --> VOIP or

[Bridge] RHEL3
Hi All,
The last time I setup bridging I used RH8. At that time, I had to patch
the kernel to get bridging to work with Iptables. Does anyone have
experience with RHEL3? Does the kernel need patched, how did it go? I
appreciate any information, thanks!

Everyone is busy/congested
I trying to receive a SIP call and have
ring a analog phone.
I have a TDM11B card with FXS(green) module in line 1.
I have Sip server "SER" setup to accept a
SIP call, add a 970 extension to uri and
set to asterisk SIP server on port 5065.
When I send a SIP call from "kphone a soft SIP phone" running
to sip://wally.world@cci.net "SER" picks call
ok and changes uri
