I have installed paltalk (chatting client) and it is working properly when it comes to hearing and talking. However, whenever I try to write, if I type one word no speace like "hello" i will have no problem. Is there a chance that Globalscape Secure FTP work on Wine under the Ubuntu server. I cant login from the Admin console to ftp engine, I get some socket error, like the engine isn't started. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

I used to use Wine (from 0.9.x to 1.1.x) on ArchLinux 32 bits to run a Brazilian Dictionary called Houaiss [1], and it worked almost flawlessly. Hi there, I have downloaded the installer of the playchess client from http://www.playchess.com/,(v5 is the only downloadable version) then installed it with wine. I installed Office 2003 in Wine without any winetricks or native DLLs. Excel works great, Word crashes a lot and can't save. What's the current best attempt to get Word 2003 to work in Wine? I see the AppDB shows no ideas on getting it working ... It's supported in CrossOver, so it should be possible in winehq Wine! Has anyone got Word working? - d.
