Wine / Visual Foxpro 7 Problems (mouse click freezes the program)
...nd could use a few suggestions on how to
proceed. I know that if I can get Visual Foxpro working on Linux the
repurcussions for the Visual Foxpro community will be huge - new life will
be breathed into the very product that Microsoft would rather see wither
away.
Thanks in advance.

smbfs: correctly propogating locks?
...ne on the Linux end. A recent patch to
Wine finally implements the LockFile() and UnlockFile() functions, and
testing on pure Linux setups works fine.
However, Sharing from Windows and connecting from smbfs on Linux, the locks
aren't respected. Alexandre Julliard confirms this:

Foxpro with MYSQL
G'day
If I have VFP9 working, a Mysql DSN which I can contact via isql and
using unixODBC for this. Do I need to do anything else to wine ie;
install MySQL drivers (Windows version) to get connectivity? I just
finished checking out Paul McNett's pages, however the MYSQL drivers he
used for VFP8 are "no longer supported" when I do "wine setup.exe". I
have a saved copy of my .wine that I reload from, so I figured I'd give
it a try.
The error I get is :
Connection failed:
SQLState: '01000'

Suggestions on how to run app that requires mscomctl32.ocx?
...as TreeView, and
they require them to be garnered from mscomctl32.ocx instead of
directly from comctl32.dll.
Is there anything in Wine that will help me do this without
needing the native ocx? If I must use the native ocx, how can I
get it without breaking any EULA's?
Thanks!

SIP URI Dialplan?
I've got soft phone that allows me to dial SIP URI's. I'd like to
route these calls through a provider to be completed, because I'm
beind a NAT box and doing it directly doesn't work.
Right now I've got an extension defined like this:
Dial(IAX2/${FWDUSERID}:${FWDPASSWD}@${FWDSERVER}/**356<username>)
This will connect a call to FWD and call a user at FWD. It works

Third time, is it a charm?
Okay sorry for the empty message bodies earlier problem with Outlook, I
guess is you have digital IDs as I do and they expire, even if you override
the signature option it clears all sent text....windows...mmmmph....
Anyway, what I was trying to relay to the group was that ZyXEL has come out
with a new Firmware (March 21, 2005) for the Prestige 2000W WiFi SIP Phone.
In my opinion it has made

Sip.conf: domain=huh?
So I saw mention of a way to allow dialing using SIP URI's on Dave McNett's
site at http://slacker.com/~nugget/projects/asterisk/page7
Wow, awesome, I can call anywhere now. However, I think there is a more
elegant way of figuring out whether or not the local * server should handle
a given domain. Specifically, Dave compares a series of domains within

Mac Mini and chan_bluetooth, has anyone told The o if it works?
I googled on this for about an hour and the most relevant hit I got was, of
course, the first hit:
http://www.sowerbutts.com/linux-mac-mini/#support
In it, he indicates that the stock Bluetooth module "should work, but
untested" - he doesn't qualify the statement with anything. Has anyone tried
chan_bluetooth or even the Bluz stack on a Mini or a G5? If so, under Linux
or OSX?
