PDC with 2 NICs problem
...c.GetDCName.failed:error]: AUTH: Error 0x0 while trying to get
Domain Controller name for 192.168.254.254: Timed out waiting for reply.
...
I'd expect it to find only aaa.bbb.ccc.241 - Any idea what am I missing
here?
The PDC is also the WINS server, in case that matters.

Mac OS X Finder hangs when accessing Samba server
...e prior verion of Samba I had (3.0.8) behaved similarly.
The LAN seems fine - non-Samba transfers between these machines
(eg using scp) behave as expected. Both are on the same small
subnet. The server is on 100BaseT and the Mac is on 802.11g
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

building of libnss_wins.so
It appears that nsswitch/libnss_wins.so doesn't get built when the
configure option --without-winbind is specified.
Is this not useful when not using winbind? I thought it would allow a
wins lookup for hosts on a Samba PDC regardless of whether or not
winbind was being used.
