[LLVMdev] New llvmgcc4 snapshot
Hi All,
There's a new snapshot of llvmgcc4 available here:
http://nondot.org/sabre/2006-05-08-llvm-gcc-4.tar.gz
This release includes the various portability fixes contributed on
llvmdev, includes fixes to build with mainline CVS (and, thus, *requires*
mainline CVS), and includes various other bug fixes.
If you're interested, please try it out.
Thanks,
-Chris

What is going on? And how am I supposed to do this. (And no,
I didn't expect that the output of plot() would be sensible!)
Thanks again,

Encoder differences, beta4 -> 1.0rc1
Hi all,
Were there encoder differences between beta4 and 1.0rc1? A precompiled
oggenc for Windows identifies itself as beta4, and from a certain mono
file produces 53.3 kb/s files, whereas one I've compiled myself,
identifying itself as 1.0rc1, produces 55.9 kb/s. Is this a feature or
a bug?
Also, all the links to images at the top of:
http://www.vorbis.com/download_win.psp
are broken.

Any advice in this area would be greatly appreciated. These suckers have got to be PERFECT...
Thanks,
-MCM

Manejo de colores CMY(K?) según valores de variables.
Buenas noches;

Question About Markov Models
...ead (this info is not available for all the patients after its last
therapy), but to try to guess the next therapy one is likely to undergo at
some stage using a Markovian model.
Let us assume that all patients are given the i-th therapy cycle at the
same time.
I did some experiments with the mcm package
(http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/msm/index.html), but I am banging
a bit my head against the wall.
In general, I do not have a death state and time does not play a
particular role here (I could say that the i-th therapy is given at time
i, but this is arbitrary). Later on thi...

Major revision of plink for separate calibration IRT-based linking

In addition to the estimation of linking constants, response probabilities

decompose a correlation matrix
Is there a simple way to decompose the upper triangle
of a correlation matrix to a linear list;
For example:
X Y Z
X 1 2 3
Y 2 1 4
Z 3 4 1
so you get a list like:
xy 2
XZ 3
YZ 4
I suspect you can do it with a matrix transformation, but
that beyond me at present.
Many thanks
Mark

reshape -> reshape 2: function cast changed?
Hi,
I used to use reshape and moved to reshape2 (R 2.15.1). Now I tried some of my older scripts and was surprised that my cast function wasn't working like before.
What I did/want to do:
1) Melt a dataframe based on a vector specifying column names as measure.vars. Thats working so far:
dfm <- melt(df, measure.vars=n, variable_name = "species", na.rm = FALSE)
2) Recast the
