non-x86 buildbots.
What you're both saying is basically the same as: We want all the cars
we care about in our garage, but only as long as they can race in F1.
However, you care about the whole range, from beetles to McLarens, but
are only willing to cope with the speed and reliability of the latter.
You'll end up with only McLarens in your garage. It just doesn't make
sense.
Also, very briefly, I want the same as both of you: reliability. But I
alone cannot guarantee that. And even with help, I can only get th...

Wine and ConquerOnline
Hello,
I'm using Linux for about two months now. Even before switching to Linux
I have heard of Wine.
I got my system running relativelly stable (I use Slackware 10.2,
kernel-2.6.14 and KDE 3.4), but still have some issues - sound being one
of them. But that's my problem.
I'd like to contribute to the wine project somehow. Perhaps starting as

SMBMount Not Recognizing File Locks
I'm trying to set up a "dropbox" application that will monitor a
directory for newly created files and process them. The problem I am
having is that my linux process is not recognizing that a file is
still being written to by another server.
Here's the configuration:
Redhat Linux with 2.4.9-31smp kernel using SAMBA 2.0.10 client to
mount a share that exists on a Windows 2000

Samba 2.2.8a Large File Support Issues
I know this issue has been beat to death on the newsgroups, but I have
not yet found an answer.
I will make an attempt to include all the necessary info.
Description of Problem:
I am having problems trying to access large files (>2GB) on mounted
smbfs volumes.
To clarify, I am attempting to view large files that exist on an NT
server, from my Linux box, and getting erroneous results.
