Dual-screen compiz mostly working
...does the Reflection
plugin.
- my fonts are not nearly as clean and crisp under compiz as they are
under metacity. It's like the fonts are thick and fuzzy under compiz.
(I'm sure there's a correct terminology for that but i'm no expert).
any help would be greatly appreciated!

My understanding is that this will be generated automatically
if any instruction has an operand that needs a custom parser
(i.e. one that has been defined using the ParserMethod attribute).

Crash trying to start with ATI BigDesktop
...had previously been using ATI's BigDesktop across two monitors.
When I tried this with Xgl and Compiz it bombed out during startup.
I couldn't spot anything different in my Xorg.94.log file either.
Is it possible to get BigDesktop working?
If so, where should I be looking for problems?

My console is running frame buffer and gensplash.
I've got compiz running with my ATI driver, and xorg 7.1.1
Is there a known bug between the frame buffer and Xgl?
Should I be entering a bug?

fsck_ufs locked in snaplk
...88K snaplk 0:02 0.00% fsck_ufs
File system in question is 200G gmirror on SATA. Usually making a snapshot
(e.g., for making dumps) consumes 3-4 minutes for that fs, so it seems to me
that filesystem is in a deadlock.
Any hints?

PAE and gvinum
Hi all,
I got a machine with 8GB of RAM and plenty of disk space. I need gvinum to
manage big number of file systems but PAE enabled kernel does not compile
modules. I couldn't figure out how to get vinum statically compiled in the
kernel if that is the way to go. I am running 6-STABLE.
Please advise on how to get PAE kernel and gvinum working together!
TIA,
Stoyan
