problem with the registry
...s I am trying to solve my problem.
I want to run the Guitar Pro program but it keeps hanging after the
GUI starts with the errors:
fixme:ntdll:find_reg_tz_info Can't find matching timezone information
in the registry for bias -120, std (d/m/y): 12/09/2010, dlt (d/m/y):

after I hit CTRL+C the program runs OK only I can't hear any sound and
the error is showed:

how do I fix this?

Wine and Guitar Pro 5.2
Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop, Wine 1.1.13 (upgraded from 1.0.1 to try to solve my problem). I have used used Guitar Pro very recently without a problem. After a PSU failure, I had to reinstall the OS and downloaded and installed software, including Wine. Guitar Pro appeared to install properly and its splash screen was normal. Immediately the full program ran, a fatal error stopped it. I have a screen
