Missing functionality in Blowfish for crypt(3)
...fferent than the way this feature is turned on in OpenBSD.
The patch can be applied by:
cd /usr/src
patch < /path/to/libcrypt.patch
I have submitted a change request/PR for this so that it can be considered for commitment.
