Unitek UPS 1250xD - megatec_usb driver
Hi All, I am a newcomer to Nut, so firstly hello :-) I am keen to implement Nut and have been digging around most of the day to see how to get my two Unitek 1250xD UPS devices working. I have now managed to get nut installed (from source 2.2.0) and have (I think) success. I found a post here: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsuser/2007-December/003573.html which was

The mirror links point to openssh-3.1p1.tar.gz, but none of the sites have the file. The Linux RPM files are there though. Just thought you'd like to know, if you don't already. gpxelinux.0: pxechain to another NBP then RET fails
IRC user ernini first noticed this. We both tried using gpxe/gpxelinux.0 from Syslinux-4.04-pre22. ernini used pxechain to a commercial NBP which RETs (the same as PXELINUX) and failed. Both of us had success with core/pxelinux.0 from Syslinux-4.04-pre22. For my test, I have a VM in VMware Server 2.0.2 (VMHW v7). I loaded gpxelinux.0 using the VM's built-in PXE ROM. Then I used

GSM Cards for Asterisk (UK)
Hi, I am currently building a 1.4.4 Asterisk box for a client and they are interested in GSM functionality. Does anyone have any experience with a GSM card, preferably Quad Span (4 GSM modules or higher) for use in the UK. I have seen the Junghanns* version but I am not keen on the limitation of having to use a BriStuffed version of Asterisk. Do Digium make one ? as I am unable to find

CPU soft lockup XEN 4.1rc
Hello, Similar to others I have freezeups on the system, it is consistent with high IO load. If the system runs (even with multiple) XenU it does not happen. But I can consistently force the situation to occur. Running 4 dd processes dumping 20GB each on a LVM/mdadm soft RAID5 volume it consistenly crashes in a DomU. Running without XEN I do not see the problem at all - (e.g. after about 3TB of

Freeze with 2.6.32.19 and xen-4.0.1rc5
Hi, i have big trouble with a Debian Lenny dom0 and latest kernel 2.6.32.19 with xen-4.0.1rc5. Due some reason the system freezes from time to time. I used kernel 2.6.31.9 with xen-3.4.2 before. The machine doesn''t write anything to serial console so there are no errors or something like that. Perhaps there is something to see from the logs ... Hardware Board: Intel DQ45CB CPU:

Any PCI passthrough success stories with SATA-RAID HBAs?
Just out of curiosity - searching for success stories has yielded no results - can anyone claim a success passing a PCI-(e) Raid Controller to a DomU and having it work over longer periods of time (month)? Really curious! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Winamp Plugins
Hi, Would anyone complain if I posted a pre-built binary of the winamp plugin? Just for those people without compilers that have missed out on the updates in the winamp plugin made in the last few day. In case any of them are experiencing the problems that were fixed. I plan on keeping it updated regularly with the latest builds. Does all of this sound ok or are there any complaints? Matt

Vorbis Streaming
Hi, What's the best way to stream ogg/vorbis on a windows machine right now. There's been a lot of discussion on the lists about this right now and I was curious as to the status of icecast working on a windows machine. Many people have mentioned running servers but I don't think any of them said what type of machine this was on. I assumed that they were using unix/linux/etc.
