Installation problem with 2.10 and Solaris 10 (PR#14227)
...following:
# ../../../bin/R CMD INSTALL -l "../../../library" boot.tgz
ERROR: cannot extract package from 'boot.tgz'
Oddly, the following happens with the latest gzip:
gzip -d boot.tgz
gzip: boot.tgz: Number of symbolic links encountered during path name traversal
exceeds MAXSYMLINKS
This can be corrected with the "-f" option but I can't pass that into "R".

Call for release testing.
Hi All.
We are planning on doing one of our regular OpenSSH releases (4.6/4.6p1)
some time next week. This is a mostly a bugfix release, but there is
one new feature:
sshd now allows the enabling and disabling of authentication methods on
a per user, group, host and network basis via the Match directive in
sshd_config.
The bugs fixed are:
#52 ssh hangs on exit.
#1252 sftp returns 0 when

I have just uploaded a new snapshot to
http://www.mindrot.org/misc/openssh/
Snapshot production is now automated - new snapshots will be made

This snapshot consists of mainly minor fixes over the previous.

New snapshot
I have just uploaded a new snapshot to:
http://www.mindrot.org/misc/openssh/openssh-SNAP-20001114.tar.gz
This snapshot includes Markus Friedl's new SSH2 RSA authentication work
and -R portforwarding for SSH2. Please give these a good test.
The new RSA authentications works similar to the current SSH2 DSA keys,
but requires a little modification to config files. Currently RSA
key cannot be
