[lld] RFC: Finding shared libraries on OpenBSD
On OpenBSD we still use the "classic" SunOS 4 shared library versioning scheme where the major and minor number are part of the library name (and recorded in DT_NEEDED entries). For example the shared libc on the OpenBSD-current is named libc.so.89.2. With this scheme, linker has to pick the pick the library with the highest major and minor (within the highest major version); the

[lld] RFC: Finding shared libraries on OpenBSD
Hi Mark, If we have to do this, or LLD doesn't work on OpenBSD, I think we need to do this. But can I ask one question? I wonder why OpenBSD systems don't have symbolic links unlike the other Unix-like systems in the first place. ASTCC error on free calls
I set up certain routes in my ASTCC application to be free of charge. Any ideas? Sincerely, Trevor Hammonds -------------- next

Computations slow in spite of large amounts of RAM.
Hi all, I am a beginner trying to use R to work with large amounts of oceanographic data, and I find that computations can be VERY slow. In particular, computational speed seems to depend strongly on the number and size of the objects that are loaded (when R starts up). The same computations are significantly faster when all but the essential objects are removed. I am running R on a machine

Labelling boxplot with fivenumber summary
I am very new to R so forgive me if this seems basic but I have done extensive searching and failed to come up with the answer for myself. I am trying to label a boxplot I have created with the values for the median, upper and lower quartiles and max and min values. I have been unable to do this or find anything on the net to say how it might be done. Is this possible and if so how? Regards,

Help Last windows program
Hey All, I have one final program I need to get working so I can kiss M$ goodbye. The program I use is called PhotoImpact (PI). I have version 7 and a older version 5. I have wine 20050725-r1 installed. All the default settings, no winetools or winecfg used. I'm running Gentoo with 2.6 kernel on a P4 2.8 system with a gig of memory and 160 gig HD. The install both version and they went
