Building packages using RPMBUILD
I have been following the MaximumRPM guide from here:

and it seems a bit dated, but still very good (if fact the
best all round documentation I have found so far) on using
RPM package manager, and how to build rpm packages.

interactions between OPIE-ftpd and RH5.2
...pm package problem and the person who maintains this package
should be told about this.
There is a way in the %files section of the .spec file to specify files
that should be .rpmsave'd -- from (my rusty) memory, I think they should
be specified as %config files - I don't have my copy of MaximumRPM with me
at the moment.
