Aware of MaxDiff in R?
Hi All -
I would like to use R to implement MaxDiff (Best/Worst) scaling, but since I
can't find anything on it in the R archives or packages, I think I'll have
to start from scratch.
I am hoping a list member is aware of a canned version of this method in R.
Failing that, code from another language you'd be willing to share would...

MaxDiff Scaling
Dear R List,
I have found that R handles a remarkable number of analytic tasks that are
overlooked by major commercial packages. However, I have not found an R
package that handles MaxDiff Scaling - does one exist?
Thanks in Advance,

fdim problems
hi
I am trying to use the add-on package fdim to calculate fractal
dimesionality of some time series data.
I keep getting an error - trying to run simple example from the help
pages

I get the following read out...

Estimating choice models at the individual level
...I could certainly do this,
but I'm thinking that it would be better to estimate a Hierarchical
Bayes model to get coefficients for each individual respondent. This
way, I could pull out the people I need for a particular segment and use
just those coefficients. Sawtooth's program for MaxDiff can do this.
Is there any R package to do an HB estimation for a discrete choice
(logit) model?
Thanks,
Walt

Design of experiments for Choice-Based Conjoint Analysis (CBC)
Hello,
I would like to know if there is any function in R which allows to make
designs of experiments for Choice-Based Conjoint studies ?
I have already checked the topic on " design of experiments with R " and
looked at the different libraries.
I tried to make my design with the "optFedorov" function but I haven't found
how it can allow to have balanced design (with the

Is there a non-parametric repeated-measures Anova in R ?
Hello Prof. Harrell and dear R-help mailing list,
I wish to perform a non-parametric repeated measures anova.
If what I read online is true, this could be achieved using a mixed Ordinal
Regression model (a.k.a: Proportional Odds Model).
I found two packages that seems relevant, but couldn't find any vignette on
the subject:

[PATCH 0/6] VSOCK: revert virtio-vsock until device spec is finalized
The virtio-vsock device specification is not finalized yet. Michael Tsirkin
voiced concerned about merging this code when the hardware interface (and
possibly the userspace interface) could still change.
Please revert for now.
I am working to finalize the virtio-vsock device specification and at that
point the interfaces will be stable.

[RFC 0/6] Add virtio transport for AF_VSOCK
This patch series adds a virtio transport for AF_VSOCK (net/vmw_vsock/).
AF_VSOCK is designed for communication between virtual machines and
hypervisors. It is currently only implemented for VMware's VMCI transport.

[RFC V2 0/7] Introduce VM Sockets virtio transport
Hello guys,
This was V2 of the virtio-vsock back in last October. I do not have time to
work on it since then. People are asking the latest status of virtio-vsock from
time to time, so I'm sending out the code for people who are interested in.
Feel free to grab the code and work on it if you want.
In commit d021c344051af91 (VSOCK: Introduce VM Sockets), VMware added VM
