Moving Average
Dear R-Users,
How can I compute simple moving averages from a time series in R?
Note that I do not want to estimate a MA model, just compute the MA's
given a lenght (as excel does).
Thanks

PATCH: make contrib/redhat/sshd.init work with older RH releases
Damien--
Attached is a patch to contrib/redhat/sshd.init which eliminates the
dependency on the success() and failure() functions from
initscripts>=4.16. This allows sshd.init to be used for both early and
recent releases of Red Hat Linux (i've confirmed it works on both 4.2
and 5.2 as well as 6.2).
The patch also removes the 'Requires: initscripts >= 4.16' line from

Changed IP address causing trobule
Hello,
I have problem since we changed our IP address of the server from
192.168.1.16 to 192.168.11 and now Samba's internal KDC doesn't
authenticate any users and it won't let me change DNS records as a result
of that.
Is there any way of "manually" changing IP address in some file somewhere?
Or is there any other way of getting around this?
Regards,
Luka

Users can't access files on shares
Hello fellow Samba experts,
I come to you in hour of need. :-)
I have successfully set up Samba 4. It's acting as a AD domain controller
and on it I have 4 users, 4 groups and 6 shares. For most of the time
everything works fine, but samba has occasional glitches.
The glitches appear in such way that one user is let's say editing excel
file, and after saving the file and exiting excel,

Unable to join the domain, problem with DNS records
Dear Samba users and gurus,
I'm currently setting up a data server for our company, since the old one
is slowly dying of age. At the company we bought new server and decided to
put Linux on it and use Samba for file sharing. Now, The installation went
fine, and I'm currently running Gentoo Linux with Samba 4.1.3. Setting up
the Samba was no problem at all, up to the point where I want to
