So if you guys could help me with a path to solve this, I will be glad.
I'm using Dovecot 2.1.7 in a Debian Wheezy machine.
The command I'm using is:

-o imapc_username='breno.moreira at mav.com.br' -o imapc_password='pass' -u

I will take the opportunity to ask you a question: would you recommend me
to update director instances too? They run on separate containers. I
haven't upgraded them and it all seems to be working just fine in
production.

Writing to a Win98 share?
......
I'm mounting a Windows98(se) share (yes, with full permissions, no password)
onto my Linux box. Mounts just fine, all users can read from it perfectly.
However, NO users except for root can write to the share! How can I fix
this?
Here's my mount line for the share from /etc/fstab:
//mav/mav_z /mnt/mav_z smbfs user 0 0
I've tried mounting it with "mount /mnt/mav_z" which works, and I've also
tried using "mount -t smbfs -o guest,rw,fmask=0777 //mav/mav_z /mnt/mav_z"
which also works. Same result though, can't write to the share!

I see that 2.2.35 seems to be missing here too:

[ceph-users] dovecot + cephfs - sdbox vs mdbox
Thanks Jack.
That's good to know. It is definitely something to consider.
In a distributed storage scenario we might build a dedicated pool for that
and tune the pool as more capacity or performance is needed.

Increasing the DMESG buffer....
Hi,
As a next question to my building this server.
I'm nogt able to get a full verbose dmesg.
Probably because the kernelbuffer for it is too small.
I know there used to be a kernel option to increase it.
But I can not find it with the setting in NOTES or any other place I
looked....
Is it still there?
Thanx,

As this is still a release candidate, I'm thinking of running an isolated
instance of this version, and do doveadm force-resync just to fix just this
user's mailbox.
What do you think?

Hello Aki,
yes I did that, but I didn't remove the map files first (I don't know if
that's required).
I can do it again if needed.
