Cisco 7960G and *
It'll work, either as a SIP phone with the SIP image, or as skinny using wither chan_sccp or chan_skinny (check the wiki). RESOLVED: 'Dropping voice to exceptionally long queue on IAX2'
...been sent. To remedy the problem just fix your MTA to either force routes or delivery locally. Due to how the * system is setup I don't see any other way of resolving this issue as the email notifications can be a nice bottleneck. Hook Flapping on Cisco 7960
Hey all, I'm running * (1.0.9) with some 7960's. When I pick up the handset it often will flap on and off hook eventually hanging up on me and not realizing that I am still holding the handset. These phones are running with the SIP 7.5.0 image on a LAN (no NAT). I am not sure if this is a phone issue or an Asterisk setting. Ideas?

'Dropping voice to exceptionally long queue on IAX2'
I searched the archives and found a couple references to this from Mark. I am on a network that will not support IRC (govt) so I cannot do IRC. This happend after calling Voicemail (<num>). I hung up on the call and also tried the # to hang up. Both resulted in many, many 'Dropping voice to exceptionally long queue on IAX2' until I physically hung up the line. It seems the

UPDATE Patch for postgres enabled app_voicemail.c
I forgot to take out the portion that would read in the voicemail boxes from the text file. If you want to leave it in then you could have some voicemail boxes defined in the text voicemail.conf. I do not, so I have removed it. Below is the new patch: *** app_voicemail.c 2004-06-23 07:55:54.000000000 -0600 --- app_voicemail.c.new 2004-06-23 07:55:47.000000000 -0600 *************** *** 49,61 ****

Patch for postgres enabled app_voicemail.c
Hello all, I am just getting going on building my system, but I thought I'd send you all a patch that I wrote so the command: show voicemail users issued from the CLI works properly when there is a postgres backend for the voicemail. The current version of the app does not display the voicemail boxes found in a database. It is called in the load_config function. I haven't done
