OpenSSH v3.8p1 fails to interoperate for GSSAPI (Kerberos) and X-Windows

files of v3.8p1 to v3.7p1, one at a time, until I hit a relevant effect.
Once I spotted the change to ForwardX11Trusted in readconf.c, I had the
keyword for a search on Google, which revealed what was happening. I am
not a happy camper at this moment.
Here at UCLA-Mathnet we had to revert a patch to Solaris, that hackers
are actively exploiting, because of a lack of backward compatibility: it
breaks several important apps and we couldn't get them upgraded

Printing with CUPS & Samba...
I am trying to print from both a Win98 PC via Samba and a Red Hat 8.0
workstation to an HP 4 Plus printer that is connected to a Red Hat 8.0
server. I have managed to get the Win98 PC working OK, but am having
difficulty with the RH8 workstation.
I set the printer up using a browser with <Server>:631, calling it HP4Plus,
and I can send a test print from the browser on the RH8 box via

Possible security hole in 2.2.0a?
Unauthorised connection attempts to a server running samba 2.2.0a are a
daily occurrence but incorrect usernames/share names prevent accesses to
shares and this is not normally anything to worry about. But looking
through the smbd logs on this server I found one instance where someone
apparently knew the 6 usernames listed in the smbpasswd file and tried to
use those in turn to gain access. (This

If there are privacy issues, jobs for other users could be described in
innocuously generic terms, e.g. the user is identified as "someone else"
and the job title is blanked out. But do include the file size.
