Problems running features with Textmate Cucumber bundle
I finally plunked down for the beta RSpec bundle and I''m working through the initial example. Although I''m a fairly experienced RSpec user, I''m stlll learning new tricks. Anyway, I''m going though the mastermind example, and everything is going well, except that I decided to also try out the Textmate bundle for Cucumber. I decided to use Ben Mabey''s

Rspec book issue (mastermind example)
Hey Everyone, Just a simple question. I have read and re-read the examples and I''m not getting the proper output. I''m on page 73/74 of the Rspec book and it says I should have "4 steps passed". I think the problem is within my /step_definition/mastermind.rb" file. It''s definitely not beyond me to make a mistake, but I have checked and double checked my

address (nil), cause 'memory not mapped'
Dear users, I got this problem and i don't have a clue of what it could be happening... The context: i'm running a loop in which i extract information from a raster map (I work with GRASS and R, using spgrass6 package), and rearrange it to create a matrix. I've tried it with small maps and it works smoothly, but in large maps I have to resort to saving data in the hard disk regularly

Save output
Dear R-Mastermind Within a while or a for-loop, is there a way that I can save to disk the results of the previous calculations at the end of each loop with filenames called "file01.Rdata", "file02.Rdata" etc? So far, I have tried to write the outcome of each loop in a 3 dimensional array and saved it just once after the loop. Or is there another way so that I can keep

Re: iscsi with gluster i want to make it
Hi Viraj, Gluster Ver. 3.x supports replication over WAN but currently very limited. I assume it will expand as time moves on. As for ISCSI. I doubt Glusterfs will ever support ISCSI. ISCSI operates at the block level. Gluster only works on the filesystem level. The only way to have iscsi on Gluster would be to export an iscsi target that is a file on gluster. As for snapshot and

Multiple 2003 Servers
Hi, I am busy trying to get another 2003 server setup and working so that we have backup servers when authenticating to AD. I believe the way we have to do it is to not specify a server when joining the domain, but rather just connect to the domain. Here is what I did. I installed a standard 2003 server, and then installed a second one, making it another controller in the domain. So that seems

Error in prototype.js? / Enumerable.each
Hi List! I am using the latest version of prototype.js from the SVN, including the wonderful $$ operator to loop through a number of elements with a certain classname. In Firefox everything works fine, no JS error, but in IE I get an error in the .each function saying that an Object was expected. What I do is function initializePlugins() { $$(".plugin").each(function(plugin) {

Urgent Samba / Squid NTLM Auth Problems
Hi, We are having problems setting up a squid cache server to use NTLMv2 authentication to authenticate users against AD. We have narrowed the problems down to being a problem between samba and squid when using NTLMv2. It constantly moans about the password being wrong when using squid, but doing a direct samba auth works fine. We have (believedly) narrowed it down to this: the domain requires

underscores, sugar, and more and more bugs
I sent this earlier under with the subject "artificial sugar causes cancer" and I think some spam filters ate it. Here it is again: ====================================== All, If you look at http://rubyforge.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=6760&group_id=797&atid=3149 you''ll see that Chad (the submitter) found the source of the bug. wishlist -- names gives slotnames (PR#7410)
Full_Name: Elizabeth Purdom Version: 1.9.1 OS: Windows XP Submission from: (NULL) (171.64.102.199) It would be nice if names(obj) would give slot names as well. Since for many people slots are new, the first thing that happens is you try to access what's in them and can't find how to do it. If you don't know that slotNames() exists, it can be very frustrating. Moreover, if you

R-beta: New R Version for Unix
Version 0.60 of R for Unix is now available. Release of this version has been delayed for a variety of reasons, but we hope that it will provide a good deal more stability and functionality than previous versions. However it should be regarded as of "alpha" quality for a short shakedown period. We would like user feedback to help us improve the quality of R. You can do this by

Changing the :path and :url options of has_attached_file in paperclip
Hello, I am using the paperclip plugin to upload images and it works absolutely fine. I intend to save my uploaded images to C:\Application_name\public folder. Accordingly, with some study over the i-net, I changed the :path option of has_attached_file to - :path => "C:/Application_name/ public/:class/:attachment/:id/:style_:basename.:extension" Now, the files are being saved to
