a little program with split access?
...default route to internet from Local
Network(192.168.0.x) and eth1 as for the servers(DNS, mail, web) that people

allowing me to run servers on that link, so I had to setup another link for
servers(eth1).
The IP masqurading is used and ip forwarding is turned on.

IP Filters and Firewalls:Summary of Source Info
...I'm asking myself and haven't
[The text cut]
I can't comment on the quality of the Linux 2.0.x IP Filter package,
but I personaly, after reading the following papers (and some others),
I would not leave my inner net *only* protected with IP Filters
, what is acctually the case with IP Masqurading and that "firewall"
some people are talking about. I would not leave my inner net guarded
even with the IP filtering package of Open BSD which looks one of the
best to me, because it takes into account even the flags of the IP
packets.

Password recovery trick not working on CentOS
Hi,
I remember back in the days, there was a neat trick to recover a lost
root password, or more exactly, redefine a new password for root.
1. In the bootloader, boot the system with the 'init=/bin/bash' kernel
argument.
2. Remount the root partition in read-write mode:
# mount -o remount,rw /
3. Set the password for root:
# passwd
4. Remount the root partition in read-only
