evaluate a variable in smb.conf
...nt to use a variable in the global section of smb.conf
If the variable is %u (or %g), it concerns the current user (root at
this moment) and not the veritable user. while ?

Problem with W2K SP2 and Samba 2.2.2
...think that is not a problem of password
(EnablePlainTextPassword = 1 on W2K and security=user on samba
server).
Can somebody help me ? I have look the archives but I don't found
something else.

Session Data Question
I am still to new to rails to feel comfortable diving into the source
for the framework however my comfort is getting better. My question
is this. We are storing the session data in the database using
active_record_store. I was looking at the table to just get a better
idea of what is going on as far as how the data is stored. I am a bit
curious as to the session.data field. What method

usbhid-ups driver can't be killed...
Hello
I'm encountering a big problem with usbhid-ups driver : the driver hangs
after loading some other modules (stale data message) !
And we can't restart it.
We load :
i2c-piix4
adm1021
adm9240
lm75
The unloading of the modules doesn't solve the problem.
# ps -eaf | grep usb
