Strange behavior
I'm using syslinux 4.04 with dynamically generated menus configuration based on info found in various web pages. I'm doing my testing using a vCetner 4.10 Vmware virtual machine. This works some of the time, but not always. I just copied the prebuilt modules from the syslinux 4.04 distribution for gpxelinx.0, menu.c32, reboot.c32, and pxelinux.0 When I boot a machine dhcpd says to boot

They need to subscribe manually. Is there a way to automatically subscribe to this? Kind regards, Robin -- View this message in context:

For those interested, he has a fairly decent Kenwood linear turntable with what I understand is a rather pricy cartridge manufactured by some company whose name escapes me, hooked into a Fosgate Tate II SQ decoder which is likewise hooked into two X10-D buffers then finally into a Marantz receiver. The whole system sounds absolutely wonderful on SQ records, and on non-SQ records the Tate II decoder has a "wide stereo" mode which makes better use of a quadraphonic setup using a stereo source than I'd ever heard before. He also clued me in on the whole quadraphile SQ v...

Ogg too good?
I'm just encoding some files with the latest ogg and it's too good. I tried encoding things at q1 just to see what happened and I couldn't hear the differencee between the ogg and the original files. Maybe it was the type of music I was encoding or limitations in my listening equipment or something but it seems pointless to have a scale from one to ten and have most of it unused.

Such a nice codec! Soundcard recommendations?
Wow! Ogg is sounding _really_ fine these days. Waaaay past my ability to tell from CD on my crappy sound card, even at pretty low bitrates. Which leads to my question: there's a huge difference between what my sound card puts out and what my CD player can do (Rotel RCD-950 to Classe' Audio Twenty preamp to Acurus A80 amp to Epos ES-12 speakers, in case anyone cares). If my computer is
