yes used rpm- 20040914-1fc1winehq... i do the rpm -ivh when i goto install say a windows exe i type wine " theprogram exe" and it goes thur a what seems to be a instlal of fonts then stops and redhat crashes yes it crashes.. locks rite up on me ...i have no clue what else to do i try a rpm -e program name and nuffin there to uninstall how did you install it ? by rpms ? I install

...run using the rpm -Fvh command. i do recall list traffic that did not recommend upgrading this way, but have not had any problems in the past doing it this way. could someone steer me to documentation that would help me upgrade the samba software via rpm? i have downloaded and read the samba pdf manuls by john terpstra, jelmer vernooij, and jerry carter (excellent reading), but did not find my specific issue. thank you, stuart

Hi, Hopefully this won''t be too off-topic (I''ve seen both bonding & vlan mentioned on the list, but not really together). I''ve tried to get bonding (2 x 100Mb EEPro, but will want to try on 1000BaseT) and vlans to work together, but without luck. I can get them working fine (seemingly at least - I didn''t tried bursting on the bonded port) individually.
