Manual scaling a scatter plot
...and var2 contain a lot of NA,sometimes the dependent var sometimes the predictor, sometimes both together. Three problems occure: Makeing subsets to split the data according to the levels is tedious and needs then points(), abline(lm()) with different line and points types for each plot defined manualy. Is there a simpler solution? Since the data need different scaling some datapoints lay outside of the window, depending on which level was printed first. Is there a way to do scaling manualy? I start with a plot of the vars with the bigger range using the plot(type="n") function. Then...

Question about functions in R
...m[j,3]<-as.numeric(fdax[k,2]) j<-j+1 } k<-k+1 } return(m) } When I try to import it into R with edit( file="name.txt", editor="someeditor") I get the response that there is an error on the line where last bracket is. When I execute this code manualy in R command by command everything works ok. This happened to me before with other functions. Sometimes I can import them and they work perfectly but sometimes I get the error on the last line of code which is alvays the final bracket. Anyone has any idea why this is happening?
