HowTos/ManualInstall documentation update
...y first post on this list so please don't be too harsh. After following a bunch of different guides and looking for documentation all around I've managed to install centos on my server from a chroot (from a debian-based host system). I would like to update the https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall wiki page with this new information as the information on there is pretty outdated. Here are my documentation steps attached as simple text for now. Of course, I propose to format it correctly if I am given access to the page. If anyone has comments and/or suggestions to the steps I took, I would b...

ManualInstall page update review request
Hello everyone, I'm more or less finished with updating the ManualInstall wiki page ( https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall ). Any feedback would be appreciated. I would be very grateful also if someone found a way of predicting the "predictable" network interface names, since I haven't been able to find a consistent method that works across differen...

CentOS 7 Manual Install
I am following the instructions from the CentOS website to manually install CentOS 7 (http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall) but the guide seems to have some quality issues. I've partitioned the storage fine and now onto setting up RPM. Unfortunately I am at a loss on how to do this. I am doing this on VMware Workstation 10 and the host OS is Ubuntu 14.04. Thanks Parvez

Manual Install fail in first steps
Hello everyone, while I wanne try out very special partition, i walk through https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall but fail allready at "INSTALL setup basesystem filesystem" This is very clear to me, because rpm don't know the full path (real version) or is there some thing wrong ?? Chroot Install
Good Morning, I want to update my CF-Microdrive for my router with CentOS (currently there is Slacky on it). I have attached the microdrive to my notebook using a pcmcia CF adapter. Within my CentOS installation the drive is detected correctly as ide_cf and all partitions are shown. But as the installer does not ship the necessary modules for a pcmcia ide installation i am searching for a way to
