HowTos/ManualInstall documentation update
...y first post on this list so please don't be too harsh.
After following a bunch of different guides and looking for documentation
all around I've managed to install centos on my server from a chroot (from
a debian-based host system). I would like to update the
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall wiki page with this new
information as the information on there is pretty outdated. Here are my
documentation steps attached as simple text for now. Of course, I propose
to format it correctly if I am given access to the page.
If anyone has comments and/or suggestions to the steps I took, I would b...

ManualInstall page update review request
Hello everyone,
I'm more or less finished with updating the ManualInstall wiki page (
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall ). Any feedback would be
appreciated.
I would be very grateful also if someone found a way of predicting the
"predictable" network interface names, since I haven't been able to find a
consistent method that works across differen...

CentOS 7 Manual Install
I am following the instructions from the CentOS website to manually install
CentOS 7 (http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall) but the guide seems
to have some quality issues. I've partitioned the storage fine and now onto
setting up RPM. Unfortunately I am at a loss on how to do this. I am doing
this on VMware Workstation 10 and the host OS is Ubuntu 14.04.
Thanks

Chroot Install
Good Morning,
I want to update my CF-Microdrive for my router with CentOS (currently
there is Slacky on it). I have attached the microdrive to my notebook
using a pcmcia CF adapter. Within my CentOS installation the drive is
detected correctly as ide_cf and all partitions are shown.
But as the installer does not ship the necessary modules for a pcmcia
ide installation i am searching for a way to
