I want to set up RSYNC so it has root privilege on the remote server. I do not want to run rsync through inetd. I want to be able to limit who can use rsync when the remote end has root privilege. I am running rsync version 2.6.4 protocol version 29 on HPUX 11.11. The same version of rsync is being used on both the source and destination sides. I am running rsync across an SSH connection.
