A3 Mania on Wine
Hi, Has anyone successfully run A3 Mania on Wine? It is an MMORPG (http://www.a3mania.com).
I have installed directX and some other things using winetricks. I wias getting errors with urlmon.dll and rpcrt4.dll and then a dump.
I copied over the urlmon.dll and rpcrt4.dll files from my windows installation to the system32 folder of wine....

MyAC Problem
MyAC is an anti-cheat program for CS 1.6, it can't run with wine, I'm using the latest version of wine on Ubuntu 8.04 - The Hardy Heron. I'll appreciate if anyone can help me 'cause I really like the game and currently can't play it on my favorite servers, and frankly that's the reason I still keep WindowsXp like a back up operating system.

Restarting Wine for game on Mac 1
I have installed a game and it has asked me to reset the system. I have closed down wine, X11 and even my computer but it still asks for a restart.

ugly name when mapping drives to windows

I have just finished setting up a samba server as a member server in a windows 2003 AD. Everyting works like a "keps" Only one minor beauty defekt. When I map a drive in windows from the samba share like.
net use x: \\server\sharedfolder
In windows "this computer" and in explorer the mapping shows with the long name
"sharedfolder at Samba file and print server

Access Violation TMNF
Hello,
I have a propblem with the game Track Mania Nations Forever
If i want to start the setup.exe with wine, i get an error in a seperate window
that says:
Code:
Access violation at address 00409942. Write of address 00400000
The game is listed at the appdb.
Version of wine is bin32-wine 1.1.9-1 at an arch-linux-X86-64 distro.

NULL pointer dereference in context_acquire(), wined3d/context.c
In context_acquire(), line 2439 (as of commit 90e3bc5, fetched just now), I'm seeing the line
struct wined3d_swapchain *swapchain = device->swapchains[0];
crash because device->swapchains is NULL.
This happens in the games Club Paradise and Spa Mania when switching between fullscreen and windowed mode. The platform is Ubuntu Desktop 32-bit 11.04 with the Recommended version of the proprietary NVIDIA driver.
Any suggestions as to how I might patch Wine to fix this?

How do I use Internet Explorer 6.0 in Wine 1.1.3

Can Windows 'Network Drive' name be changed ?
In Windows Explorer, 'Network Drives' section, the Samba share I've set
up is described as:
share on 'Samba 3.0.14a-0.4-SUSE (Our_server_IP_Address)' (K:)
Is there any way of configuring Samba to display something other than
"Samba 3.0.14a-0.4-SUSE (Our_server_IP_Address)" as the Network Drive
description, for example:
