Assuming that you have an AD domain, you would primarily manage the domain
via Microsoft's Remove Server Administration Tools i.e. Active Directory
Users and Computers, DNS Manager, etc.
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Installing_RSAT
Computer Management is only at a local level.

NFS Client to Server User Mapping / how to configure for user-IDs
...to edit one
or more files wotling as root
The problem:
fpr a projekt we ve 4 elk-nodes sharing one share on this server to
use the same files.
This doesn t work.
My guess is that the reason is that elk is using an own user.
What ist the best way to solve the problem. We have no central
user-managemnt for linux-logins.
Thanks
Ralf

Hi, what do you mean with "reservations"? the APs in question just need
an IP for connecting to the managemnt server which is in the same subnet.

All you'd need is to use AD's kerberos realm for authentication and
have a username that matches the AD name.
(And honestly, if you are someplace with AD you probably should be
using at least the kerberos component, and possibly binding to the
domain so you can use it's account managemnt too. You just need
patient AD admins.)

HP dl580 g5 RAID management
If this were a Dell RAID, I could use megaraid while the system's running.
Does anyone know what I need to use to manage the HP "amart array" RAID?
I've got an orange light on a drive, and can't find, googling, whether I
can just pull the drive, or if I have to separate it from the RAID, or....
And can't bring the system down to use the firmware interface, not without
