Maintaing Quotas
We have our user set up with quotas on RedHat Linux server(5.1). It works under the normal
linux enviroment. BUT when we use SAMBA to get the user's home directory mapped to drive letter on a WINNTmachine (4 with SP 3) it doesn't maintain the quota. After using all the allocted space user can still copy files to that drive which is mapped for user's home directory. Does anybody else

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Switching make check to use 'set -o pipefail'
Hi Rafael,
I think you saw my other e-mail, but just in case you haven't, do you
have any thoughts about making this an option that could be easily
disabled on the command line without maintaing a patch to lit? I think
it would help out-of-tree target maintainers to transition, since I'm
sure there will be a lot of similarly broken tests to fix.

expression() and font.lab ?
...owever, I notice that the font and style that I had passed
through par() are ignored.
I used :
par(font.lab=2, font=2, family="sans")
but when I employ expression() for my xlab, the styling given above is
completely ignored.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone knew of a method of maintaing the
style while superscripting or subscripting in an axis label.
Regards,
Aparna.

Compiling for Windows
Hello OpenSSH devs,
I'm hoping this is the proper forum for this question, but if not maybe some kind soul could point me in the right direction.
I've been tasked with maintaing a Windows application that currently, or will need to, make use of the following tools:
? ssh-keygen
? ssh
? sshd
? sftp
I know there are a few packages out there already CopSSH being one of them (which does work for my purposes albeit clunkily) but
they all have various pitfalls. (footprint t...

Suggestion: Deprecate SSH certificates and move to X.509 certificates
I suggest deprecating proprietary SSH certificates and move to X.509
certificates. The reasons why I suggest this change are: X.509
certificates are the standard on the web, SSH certificates provide no
way to revoke compromised certificates, and SSH certificates haven't
seen significant adoption, It's also a bad idea to roll your own
crypto, and own certificate format seems like an example

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Switching make check to use 'set -o pipefail'
We currently don't use pipefail when running test under make check.
This has the undesirable property that it is really easy for tests to
bitrot. For example, something like
llc %s | FileCheck %s
will still pass if llc crashes after printing what FileCheck was
looking for. It is also easy to break the tests when refactoring. I
have fixed tests that were doing
%clang_cc1 -a-driver-options

AU.addRequiredTransitive<ScalarEvolution>();
AU.addRequiredTransitive<TargetData>();

Old sessions being restored
...m not seeing any errors in any
of the log files. The problem is identical whether I''m using the
STICKYSESSION cookie with the balancer or not.
At this point, I''m looking for ideas because this sessioning behavior
doesn''t make any sense to me. Something, somewhere, is maintaing old
session data and is re-writing it back to the application. At this
point, I''m trying to figure out where it might be coming from.
Thanks,

AIX openssh use of SRC control
I'm new to using openSSH on AIX and want to know how others
are launching and maintaing sshd. I see where sshd has a -i option
for use with inetd, but I am thinking about adding the AIX SRC APIs
so that I can use the commands:
lssrc, startsrc and stopsrc to maintain the daemon.

Asterisk Lists (was Re: Asterisk Business discussion again)
...; WHat is non-tech and how is this different fore "biz".
I have no idea what non-tech should be for. But Biz is an important
distinction. There are definitely business functions...mostly making it
work like X PBX or y KSU....that can best be answered by people who are
doing installs or maintaing business type installs.
Does it needs to be a separate list? Maybe. Let's see if it flies.
