Auth process died too early
Hello all,
Trying an Install of Dovecot 1.0rc15. We have previously used 1.0b8
without too many troubles.
starting Dovecot 1.0rc15 yields:

deliver tries to compile already compiled sieve script
...describe below how to reproduce it.
Dovecot and the user that deliver runs as do not have write permission
in /var/cache/sieve/.
h01:/var/cache/sieve# ls -la
total 16

When deliver runs it logs this error:
open(/var/cache/sieve/mailtest1 at domain.com.sievec.tmp) failed:
Permission denied
This indicates deliver tries to compile the script, even though the
compiled vers...

LMTP hostname ignoring ENV variables
...g, or nothing at all. Looking through the source code, I believe I should be able to set "export DOVECOT_HOSTNAME" and "export DOVECOT_HOSTDOMAIN" in my initscript to override the hostname set in lmtp/commands.c, client_get_added_headers()
I'm using Centos 5; my hostname is mailtest1.atest.qq -- it is not defined in /etc/hosts.
The added header is below:

Namespace prefix not ending with separator
...s "~/mail/", "~%u/mail/" and
"mail/".
LIST "~/mail" "*"
returns nothing, so I've tried adding another namespace for "~/mail".
Now LIST "~/mail" "*" returns
