Hi, sorry for this question, but I didn't find the information in the documentation or wiki: Is mailbox_idle_check_interval (in dovecot.conf) in seconds or minutes? I think it's minutes. But ... It would be nice, if this will be in the docu of the dovecot.conf. Thanks Rupert

Is it possible to change the IDLE command timeout to be more than 30 minutes? I have a client on my PalmOne Treo 600 which will stay in IDLE mode as long as it can. I would like to set the timeout to something much higher than 30 minutes. Maybe several hours or even more. I don't see a configuration setting for this value in "/etc/dovecot.conf". Am I missing something?

...w, we should use director to make users sticky to one host -- but we're not yet ready for that for lmtp). So, are there any recommendations for what settings one should use for for filesystems where inotify woun't work ? Are there settings for disabling it (without recompiling)? And does mailbox_idle_check_interval happen in addition to inotify, so that clients will be notified even with a broken inotify ? -jf
