No Access to public folder
Hello,
I have some Issues with Dovecots public folder.
I only see the folder in users Mailbox but I cannot subscribe it or copy
mails in it.
My public file structure (folder: "/var/vmail/public/") looks like this:
-rw-rw-rw- 1 ebox ebox 0 Feb 12 01:21 dovecot-acl-list
drwxrwsrwx 2 ebox ebox 4096 Feb 12 00:31 test
(Wierd thing is that "dovecot-acl-list" is empty, why?)

Public folder doesn't work
Hey,
I have some issues with dovecot, because the public folder won't show up in
Mail accounts.
Dovecot is installed via zentyal 3.3.
I tried several settings, but I dont get it running.
What I tried is adding this to my dovecot.conf file
# User's private mail location
mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir
# When creating any namespaces, you must also have a private namespace:
namespace {

Samba + ldap, acounts expiring? but pdbedit says otherwise
...or /etc/shadow also). XP weirdness? It's probably worth mentioning that we don't
do any kind of policy management on XP, stock xp pro installs from CD.
Samba 3.0.20b
openldap-2.2.13-4
idealx tools 0.9.1
Red Hat AS4
If that matters.
Thanks for any hints or clues where to look!

Dovecot Listescape plugin problem
Dovecot Version: 2.0.19
I'm on Ubuntu 12.04.3 using Zentyal with Dovecot for a mail Server. What I
try to setup is the possibility to use slashes ("/") in folder names inside
the IMAP account. Regularly if I name a folder "foo/bar", the system creates
me a folder named "bar" inside a folder named "foo". Listescape should give
me the possibility but it

Newbie looking to move from Netware to Linux/Samba
I'm looking to move my companies server from an old Netware 5.0 file
server to a Linux/Samba server on new hardware.
Since my companies' systems are not mission critical (I can afford to be
down for a few hours at a time after a switch-over) I feel I have the
tolerance for some problems in getting it installed.
Is this something I should be able to handle on my own (I installed the

Ceph on btrfs 3.4rc
After running ceph on XFS for some time, I decided to try btrfs again.
Performance with the current "for-linux-min" branch and big metadata
is much better. The only problem (?) I''m still seeing is a warning
that seems to occur from time to time:
