Can't run POP3 and IMAP simultaneously from xinetd...
Hello all, I'm hoping you can help out with an issue I'm having running dovecot-beta8 on Solaris 9 (SPARC). The reason I need to run them from xinetd is that we require the filtering ability that tcp_wrappers provide. My issue is that, when running both from xinetd, IMAP runs fine, but then, when you try to POP in to check mail on the same box, it seems that the login section is

login: Missing protocol from server name 'imap'
I also tried the 0.99 and hacking login-process.c, with no success. It seems to expect a slash delimited string like 'name/protocol' and it just gets "imap" there, but I didn't figure out where this string comes from or what it ought to be. 1.0beta8 won't start: Fatal: Protocol imaps given more than once
Greetings - I've just built Dovecot 1.0beta8 and find it refuses to start. This under Solaris 10 on an Intel-based Sun system. The error message Dovecot displays (on standard error) in response to /usr/local/sbin/dovecot is Fatal: Protocol imaps given more than once I've checked through my configuration file and the only mention of "imaps" is here: # Protocols
