problem registering to ekiga.net
Hi!
I want my PBX to be reachable at my ekiga.net account. It seems I am

However when others try to call magwas at ekiga.net, they find me unavailable.
My asterisk is available when called directly.
(As an aside note, the

Hi!
I have heavily lobotomized libspeex, resulting in a fixed point
encoder for 8khz sampling rate and 32 bit signals.

solution: wbinfo -K not working
...;,
regardless the winbind separator setting. parse_domain_user uses winbind
separator setting to parse this, so it will fail if the separator is
anything but '\\'
documentation actually suggests to change winbind separator to something
other than '\\'

Attach libvirt guest to an existing openvswitch port
Good day gentlemen.
I am building a study project and trying to configure openvswitch vlans
outside libvirt by means of openvswitch itself.
Somehow with interface types 'bridge' and 'network', libvirt does attach
domain to the existing port specified in <target dev=''/>, wiping the
exixting settings and always deletes this port upon domain shutdown,
thus making me

Fwd: Re: Attach libvirt guest to an existing openvswitch port
Thank you, Laine for you time and patience to give me a detailed answer.
I missed the interfaceid parameter in the docs, but now I didn't manage
to get it working.

The docs state:
"The Open vSwitch type virtualport accepts two parameters in its
<parameters> element - an interfaceid which is a standard uuid used to

feature request: winbind use cached credentials more agressively
Hi!
Winbind is rather suboptimally reacts to networking changes.
I use my notebook in at least 3 different network settings, in one of them I
have very probabilistic access to DCs
(cisco vpn client is a crap).
An nss lookup sometimes takes very looong, sometimes even returns failure.
Sometimes I have to login as root and restart winbind to get to my X session
past the screensaver. This is far

wbinfo -K not working
Dear List!
I have the problem described at
http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2008-February/138451.html
It is materialized after an upgrade of samba/winbind. Everything was working
before.
I could not find the solution neither on the net, nor from people originally
having the problem, so here I am.
This problem is a showstopper for me. (I can login by changing pam_winbind
to pam_krb5, but this
