Trailing dot filenames
...ng dots cannot be read from win.
I tried:
1 - mangle name=no -> i see file name but i cannot read it (i guess
win2k3 cuts trailing dots)
2 - mangle name=yes,mangled map=(*. *.eml) or (*. *) -> i cannot read
file (because win2k3 asks for a file that doesn't exists)
3 - mangle name=yes (no magled map) - readable file,incorrect name
files.
Is there a way to solve this?
I would like to use mangled map but it seems to be useless. (because of
its one-way translation)
Thank You!
Bye

Failed Logins (ntang@rga.com)
Nicholas:
Regarding your problem:
"The SGI server is only serving files, no home directories, no printers (we have separate NT servers for each of those
functions), and it is using "SERVER" level security. Encryption is on. Guest logins are disabled
...
I'm confused greatly by this - one day, a user's login will work, another day, it'll suddenly stop working. "

Name mangling bug: was samba bug?
Hi James,
this sounds familiar - I believe I looked at a wire trace,
and windows is dropping the trailing dots BEFORE it sends the
request over the wire. so samba never sees the name foo..., thus
does not create it.

Load balancing using connmark
Hi,
I''ve been implementing a load balancing solution using CONNMARK, based
on solution described by Luciano Ruete at [1]. Gracias por el post y por
apuntar en la dirección correcta Luciano!
Once implemented, I''ve found that due to some reason packets aren''t
properly marked (or improperly remarked) and sent out using the wrong
interface.
My topo setup is:

RFC: Interface user provided vector functions with the vectorizer.
>Thank you everybody for their input, and for your patience. This is proving harder than expected! :)
Thank you for doing the hard part of the work.
