Angstrom Symbol on Y-axis ?
...ellent Box and Whisker plots. I could plot my data nicely. However, I can't figure out from R-mailing list archive or google search either, how to place an Angstrom sign/symbol on the y-axis (any axis in principle), after a usual y-axis label ? I am doing something like this: boxplot(MAE.0_6,MAE.7_12,MAE.13_20,MAE.21_40,MAE.41_100,MAE. 101_200,MAE.201_300,MAE. 301_400 ,cex .lab = 0.80 ,names = c ("0 -6 ","7 -12 ","13 -20 ","21 -40","41-100","101-200","201-300","301-400"),cex.axis=0.70,c...

Ghost Create account: procedure number out of range in Samba
...ported domains, The procedure number is out of range. Error code: 2147944145. I use samba 2.2.8a and LDAP for authentication. There's no problem with this authentication as everything else (logging in, adding machines to the domain,...) works fine. Does anybody have an idea? Thanks, Werner Maes

Hi all... Has anyone got SWAT administration working from other userid's other than root? I've got a rh6.2 box running Samba 2.0.7. I have myself (wkim) in the "domain admin users" and the "admin users". Both the smb.conf file and the swat binarary are owned by root:swat. I'm a part of group "swat". SAMBA-LDAP and variable substition
...substituted to machinename.bat Because the "logon scripts" directive of smb.conf will no longer be used when using Samba and LDAP together, I'm wondering how I can take advantage of variable substition? Or am I missing something? If you have any information, let me know. Werner Maes KULeuven

Arguments for Samba instead of NT-Server

Any info would be mostly appreciated (so I can convince others to choose for Samba). I prefer mail. Thanks, Werner Maes (werner.maes@cc.kuleuven.ac.be) KULeuven

[Fwd: Re: Login script problem!!]
...ts. I tracked the problem down to any entries in the login script which change directory. Taking 'cd' out of the login script solved the problem. Looking at M$ technet confirmed that this was a problem with Windows. I hope this helps. SID problems?
...nobody ------------------------------------------- You?ll see that some groups have SIDs related to the domain, and also to what I presume is a default ?internal? config. I?m not sure how to get rid of the latter (eg Users (S-1-5-32-545) -> -1) I?ve added users corra, mae, and margaret to the Unix groups d-ops, d-admin, and d-user, and have also changed their Unix logon group to be d-user. This has stopped an error message about their primary group not being a Windows NT group. I?m not getting any error messages in their Samba log files now, and log.smbd is clean...
