PXE boot hangs while transferring vmlinuz or initrd.img
...ock: 1187 It appears to get stuck in a random location in either vmlinuz or initrd.img. The strange thing is that this only happens when booting the kernel and ramdisk from CentOS 5.2. Booting the kernel and ramdisk from CentOS 4 works. Any suggestions for debugging this further? Thanks, Mike Madore

feature-wish: "--ignore-unrelated-errors" option
...this behavior indeed (highly desirable and) impossible to get with the current rsync versions? If so, I should like to submit a feature wish on this count. (I thought I could program it myself, but unfortunately the code seems way to complicated for me, at least at this hour.) -- David A. Madore (david.madore@ens.fr, http://www.madore.org/~david/ )

Problem with RMA using limma, oligo and pdInfoBuilder packages
...calculated for each gene? I don’t know if the problem is in the package I built or if I can use some code to answer this question. I list all codes used to build and install the package “pd.ragene.1.0.st.v1” and used to analyze expression arrays below. Many thanks for your help, Anne-Marie Madore ## building the package > library(Biobase) Loading required package: tools Welcome to Bioconductor Vignettes contain introductory material. No sub-menus in complex.c32q
...wrong in my code, so I tested the complex.c32 example and it suffers from the same problem. I then tried a number of different syslinux releases going all the way back to v3.20 and they all have the same issue. Does anyone else have this working? My build environment is CentOS 5.1 Thanks! Motherboard for home zfs/solaris file server
Hello, I am building a home file server and am looking for an ATX mother board that will be supported well with OpenSolaris (onboard SATA controller, network, graphics if any, audio, etc). I decided to go for Intel based boards (socket LGA 775) since it seems like power management is better supported with Intel processors and power efficiency is an important factor.
