Draft / Ovirt Node validation matrix
...fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Athmane/Draft_Ovirt_Node_validation_matrix
Tomorrow I'll create collectd test case, also I would ask if there's a
pre-built iso for testing (I need it to ensure that nothing is wrong
with test matrix) otherwise I'll try to compose it.
Thanks.

[OT] introductory online kernel programming course
yes, it's OT but just in case folks here know someone who might be
interested, i'm writing and publishing a course to introduce people to
the joys of linux kernel programming:
http://www.crashcourse.ca/introduction-linux-kernel-programming/introduction-linux-kernel-programming
and, no, it's not free -- six months worth of course will cost you
all of $39 (CAD), but the first four

spamassassin needs updating?
The spamassassin on my server is 3.2.5 and is stock CentOS 5.x.
I do apply updates regularly.
Most of my legitimate contacts are either whitelisted or sorted into
folders before spamassassin sees them, but I have noticed an increasing
amount of legitimate mail marked as spam.
One issue seems to be the FH_DATE_PAST_20XX rule.
I was able to fix that via running sa-update as root per

Configuring atrpms repo?
Afternoon,
Sorry for being dense but I can seem to configure the repo for atrpms
correctly. I've tried a few things and none of them seem to work so
rather than embarrass myself in regard to yum repo configuration, can
someone post the repo configuration?
TIA!

Boot from CD
I am running CentOS 5.5 and I want to create a boot CD so that if my
boot partition is moved I can still boot from the boot CD and
re-initialize grub again. Is there some easy to use utility which will
enable me to do this ?

Virtual Machine Manager Doesn't see vmx flag
Finished installing CentOS 5.5 x86_64 on a new Dell tower workstation
that has a quad core Intel processor and 8 GB of ram. BIOS has hardware
virtualization support enabled. /proc/cpuinfo shows that all four cores
have the vmx flag present.
I applied a lot of the National Security Agency guide for securing Red
Hat Linux 5, testing the key applications I need as I went. At the end

Eliminating duplicate photos
I've seen fslint and fdupes recommended for this in CentOS,
but neither seem to be available as packages.
Is anyone using either under CentOS-5.6?
It seems that they are available in the rpmfusion-free repository,
but as far as I can see this is not functioning with CentOS at present.

Compiling PHP and MySQL
Hi everyone,
I need to install an older version of PHP - 5.2.16, which is not currently available through an official CentOS repo (as far as I can tell).
In order to fulfill our developer's requirements, I've decided to just compile PHP and MySql from the source.
Is there a way to find out what are the usual configure options that are used to compile binaries that are available through
