We have a server, ods20, running Solaris 8, with Samba 2.0.7 sharing the
home directories and 1 file sytem.(/clocal/macs/graphics shared out as
macsgraphics)
On a windows 95 client, I can find the server, ods20 and map the drives
with no problem.
However, the users want to be able to use a dns alias to server ods20,
macsgraphics.appl.chrysler.com or just macsgraphics, to find and map the
drives. The reason for this, is that these servers are leased...
