[LLVMdev] LLVM-GCC builds on OS X 10.5, fails on 10.6
...ote: > It looks like you're building a 32-bit llvm-gcc and trying to link it against 64-bit llvm libraries. Try specifying the triple as x86_64-apple-darwin10 instead of i686-apple-darwin9. Yep, that was it... thanks! It looks like I can generalize the TRIPLE setting to: export TRIPLE=$MACHTYPE and it will pick up either x86_64-apple-darwin10 or i686-apple-darwin9 as appropriate. Trevor

detecting host machine in configure.in?
...nt is configure.in determination of basic machine type (intel/compatible, alpha, ppc), then within that (say intel) the code will detect variants like MMX, SSE, and use the right routines. I know how to do the second, but what is a good way to do the first? Linux/Cygwin/Solaris seem to support the MACHTYPE environment variable. Is uname -m or uname -p more reliable? Is there a simple way than knowing all the uname -m variants that mean intel 386 compatible? (i386, i586, i686, athlon? etc). Josh __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? [LLVMdev] LLVM-GCC builds on OS X 10.5, fails on 10.6
Hi, For months now I've been building LLVM-GCC on a Mac OS X laptop without problems. Recently I switched to a different laptop, and I can no longer build LLVM-GCC. (LLVM itself builds fine on both platforms.) The build commands I'm using are identical, and I always start from a clean unpack of the version 2.8 tarball. However, the old laptop ran OS X 10.5 while the new one runs OS X

Access rights between AGI and Web server?
Hello I run AGI scripts from extensions.conf to save data into an SQLite database file, but this file must also be accessible in read-write mode by PHP scripts served by Lighttpd. As far as I can tell, Asterisk runs by default as root:wheel. I don't know if AGI scripts also run as root:wheel. Lighttpd runs as www:www, and if I create a new SQLite database through PHP scripts, they're
