DC replacement and DNS issue

as DC, seizing FSMO roles, demote all 4.3.0.
The few I tested until now is working except for DNS entries:
samba_dnsupdate is not working as it tries to update DNS zone on removed DC.
This is the beginning of samba_dnsupdate result. This was run on the 7 FSMO
owner.
This new FSMO owner is m700 with IP set to 10.156.248.216.
The old FSMO owner is m707 with IP set to 10.156.248.238, this one was
running 4.3.0.

This leads me to deal with SOA record (I broke my test AD seizing FSMO
roles before removing old FSMO owner, SOA was not changed during that
process and I suspect this was one of the point leading to all issues this
test domain has)

ext3 filesystem corruption
Hi,
I've been experiencing intermittent filesystem corruption on a Compaq Armada
M700 laptop w/ IBM Travelstar 30GB drives (both the 40GN and 30GN models).
This happens mostly under RH 7.2, w/ ext3 filesystems, but I think it's also
happened under win98. All seems fine until power-down, power-up, and boot,

log level and samba-tool domain demote
...eclare specific log levels but
man smb.conf gives me:
Example: log level = 3 passdb:5 auth:10 winbind:2
So it sems, to me, my log level directive is correct.
But once I tried to demote the DC with these specific log levels I get the
following error:
samba-tool domain demote --kerberos=yes
Using m700.samba.domain.tld as partner server for the demotion

Ok, I see. Nevertheless, thank you very much for your effort!
I must say that I can't actually believe that no one knows an answer to
this problem. It must affect MANY people using Samba DCs. According to
all the tests on the wiki, everything is working fine. Then I pull the
plug on my first DC and no one can log on. And this time I waited far
longer than the suggested "refresh
