Chrome 33 released with Opus support in HTML <audio>
Mark Edwards just pointed out to me that Chrome 33 is now in stable
release. That means that by default, Chrome users can play Opus files.
In addition to using Opus with WebRTC connections, M33 is the first
release with default support for .opus encapsulated files and http(s)
streams. Congratulations, Google!
In my quick testing it played all my music files, including surround,
and respected the gain and end-trim features. It doesn't play chained
files, and for some reason won't...

RFC: Atomic LL/SC loops in LLVM revisited
# RFC: Atomic LL/SC loops in LLVM revisited
## Summary
This proposal gives a brief overview of the challenges of lowering to LL/SC
loops and details the approach I am taking for RISC-V. Beyond getting feedback
on that work, my intention is to find consensus on moving other backends
towards a similar approach and sharing common code where feasible. Scroll down

[PATCH 0/5] RFC: ia64/pv_ops: ia64 intrinsics paravirtualization
Hi. Thank you for comments on asm code paravirtualization.
Its direction is getting clear. Although it hasn't been finished yet,
I'd like to start discussion on ia64 intrinsics paravirtualization.
This patch set is just for discussion so that it is a subset of
xen Linux/ia64 domU paravirtualization, not self complete.
You can get the full patched tree by typing
git clone

No. MacOS 9 does not know about SMB. You will need to add something on the
mac to connect to SMB. Try DAVE....

NOTE: MacOS X 10.1 should ship with integrated SMB support in a few weeks.

[PATCH 00/50] ia64/xen take 3: ia64/xen domU paravirtualization
Hi. This patchset implements xen/ia64 domU support.
Qing He and Eddie Dong also has been woring on pv_ops so that
I want to discuss before going further and avoid duplicated work.
I suppose that Eddie will also post his own patch. So reviewing both
patches, we can reach to better pv_ops interface.
- I didn't changed the ia64 intrinsic paravirtulization abi from
the last post. Presumably it

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
