...was/is my hope that I can use samba to allow them to gain access to these logfiles. Please understand that I am very new with using samba and I could not find my answers by looking in the archives. So here is what I am a little confused about. If I want to share a file or directory from a UNIX/Lynix server to a NT workstation, does samba have to be installed on that server.
