Print queues not emptying
i'm having this problem:

But. i'm running samba 3.0.24 not 3.0.11 as in bug page.

Today ... After days working i get this message in

hostname and IP
Hi people!!
i'm using samba with ADS authentication mode. when i try access the
server samba, from windows, using hostname(\\serversamba) is showed a
authentication screen, I enter my username and password, but isn't
accepted.
but when i try access via IP(\\192.168.1.1) all works. samba make the
authentication with my username and password in AD(win2k box) . Why?

Printers queue with possible bug
Hello all,
Got a problem with samba (from what I can tell) and is similar to some
KB items here:
With version 3.0.4-6.3E of Samba, why do completed print jobs stay in
the print queue when printing to a Samba-shared printer from other Samba
or Windows clients?
And
I have Samba version 3.0.24 installed. Why do completed print jobs
stay in the print queue when printing to a Samba-shared printer

printing problems
I'm using samba Version 3.0.24-1.fc5 with cups 1.2.8. I've 23 printers
installed and my clients are w2k and WinXP.
This mornig i got in logs:
[2007/05/23 10:35:16, 0] rpc_server/srv_lsa_hnd.c:create_policy_hnd(111)
create_policy_hnd: ERROR: too many handles (1025) on this pipe.
After restart the samba service it works fine.
# ulimit -n
1024
i don't find solution in samba

grant privileges issue
I'm using security = ADS and winbind. I need to grant
SePrintOperatorPrivilege to a user in domain.
When i try to grant SePrintOperatorPrivilege to my user(realm\lutierib) i use:
net -d 1 -Uroot -Slocalhost rpc rights grant realm\lutierib
SePrintOperatorPrivilege
executing the above command return me a error(Acces denied) because
root is not found in domain and doesn't has permittion

ERROR: too many handles (1025) on this pipe
Hi!
i'm desperate. I'm running samba 3.0.25a in a solaris 10 box and just
on printer showed problems.
in log files i get a lot of this messages:
[2007/10/29 09:17:13.747823, 0, effective(10176, 10000), real(0, 0)]
pc_server/srv_lsa_hnd.c:(112) create_policy_hnd: ERROR: too many
handles (1025) on this pipe.
and to come back to work only stopping and starting samba service again.

Problems printing
Hello!
I've a samba version 3.0.25a and cups version 1.2.7 running on a solaris box.
I'm using samba to share drivers and printrers to windows xp and 2k clients.
OK. Some days i got samba stoped and my logs has a lot of this messages:
create_policy_hnd: ERROR: too many handles (1025) on this pipe.
Last week a change log level to 10 to a specific client and I got 218

Hi.
Recently i created a print server with cups 1.2.8 and smbd Version
3.0.24-1.fc5 under a fedora 5 box.
I've installed some printer like as HP laserjet 2820, Konica Minolta
di2510, konica minolta 2430dl, hp laserjet 2600.
Drivers were uploaded with sucess. But i was getting a problem when
try to create a device mode for HP laserjet 2600. All others work
fine. In clientes with windows 2k,
