inetd & corrupt environment
Hello. I'm having the following problem with dovecot 1.0.12 and above,
on a FreeBSD 7.0 system - I'm trying to run pop3-login from inetd and I
keep getting this error after authentication:
May 25 09:46:19 charlie dovecot: POP3(gelu): /libexec/ld-elf.so.1:
environment corrupt; missing value for no-nuls oe-ns-eoh
The problem persists if I uncomment the lines with no-nuls oe-ns-eoh in

R: Using libvirt to monitor virtual environment.
Hello
I need a solution for monitoring and automatic migration of Guest vm machines. A good approach would be to determine which guests to migrate based on "trend usage algorithm". There is something in java and libvirt that could be used?
RegardsRoberto

dovecot w/ libwrap on fbsd
Dovecot with libwrap doesn't work on FreeBSD for some reason or another.
I have these lines in my /etc/hosts.allow:
ALL: LOCAL 127.0.0.1: allow
pop3: ALL: allow
ALL: ALL: deny
Yet when you try to telnet to localhost, port 110 this is what happens:
Aug 29 22:48:38 dodo dovecot: pop3-login: Error: connect(tcpwrap) failed: Permission denied
I also tried auth_debug=yes to see what's wrong

Using libvirt to monitor virtual environment.
Hey,
I am new with libvirt. I am working to create a program to monitor a
virtual environment. I have seen some solutions that use libvirt. Is this
API good to make monitoring operations? I didn't see operations that show
the CPU or memory usage, at least in Java binding. Are there operations
like these, or we have to calculate based on lower level informations?

Get data of Physical Machine
Hey,
What kind of data de NodeInfo represents? With my researches I thought that
it should return the data of the physical machine. But in my tests, when I
run with diferents URLs in Connect creation the values of nodeInfo
variables are differents. For example: it's the same machine, but if I run
with xen:/// the memory is X and if I run with qemu:///session the memory
is Y.
