Finding length (time) of encoded birstream
I'm adding some final features to my CD Ripper and Encoder before the full,
version 1 release. As part of that release, the program will offer the
ability to play (for review purposes) both WAV and OGG files. I have both
the decoder and playback code working but I have one final issue to resolve:
finding the play time for the Vorbis bitstream that is being played back. I

Serious bug in OpenOffice.org Calc shipped with CentOS
...y outdated.
Next week I have to give a series of classes for a company that recently
made the switch to Linux. On schedule is a one-week course for Writer
and Calc.
And right now I discover that one crucial function of Calc, "fill
series", doesn't work. Let's say I type "lundi" (monday) in one cell, so
I can pull Calc's handle to fill other cells with the days of the week.
Doing the same with "janvier" (january) does so with the names of the
month. Well, this function is broken in OO shipped with CentOS. And I
don't have the slightest clue as t...

Because it's already written in LyX and can be easily converted to pdf,
html or anything. However, the trouble shooting part could be on a wiki.

Ajax form error handling
...I need to also, however, allow for proper error checking, and the issue
is that the form_remote_tag will only update a single div tag.
I have seen a few ways to deal with this, but I want to know what the
best way is, while still allowing the model to do all of the
verification.
Thanks,

Application and Database Design
Hi,
I am begining the design of an order management system, and had a few questions
about the database design. For example: I have a customers table and an orders
table, with a one to many relationship. Now if i change the customers address
after the order has been created, it will be updated in any of the past orders,
and I do not wish this to happen. Is the best way to deal with this to store

Additional Fields in a Join Table

description)
Is it possible to leave the field names the same between both the
order_items table and the items table (both would have a price field).
I have been reading that there are problems when accessing these fields?
Is this the proper way of doing this?
Thanks,

I am sorry, I can't figure out what your function is doing.
Why do you have N^4 in the argument? A matrix should have
N rows and N columns, that is, it should have length N^2.
The function returns a vect...

RFC: xencomm in common
Hi,
xencomm is the ppc infrastructure to do hypercalls with guest physical
addresses instead of virtual address.
Because ia64 should also use physicall address, I think it''s better to re-use
the ppc code and to put into common code.
I''d propose to submit this patch is every part is OK (ie no NAK).
This patch creates include/xen/xencomm_access.h which is to be included by
