Question about permissions and roaming profiles
Hi,
Just a short question : Is it possible to NOT have the profiles
directory used for the roaming profiles shares ([profiles]) in unix mode
777 ? Because it is a bit annoying when unix users have access to the
samba server providing a 777 space ?
Thanks in advance,

make buildworld fails when upgrading to 4.8 stable : SUITE
OK, It works if I modify my make.conf to not build openss[lh] like it :
#MAKE_KERBEROS5= yes
# TEST
NO_OPENSSH= true # do not build OpenSSH
NO_OPENSSL= true # do not build OpenSSL (implies NO_OPENSSH)
Maybe I install openss[hl] as ports after... But I'm not satisfied with
this way...

IMAP proxy between Office 365 client/Sun Messaging Server
...o a login from the Office 365 migration tool. I'd like to
configure dovecot to run only the IMAP proxy if possible. I was
thinking of setting all accounts to use the same (strong) password in
the proxy.
Would anyone be willing to share a sample configuration?
Thanks,

[OT] Survival and Function as co-primary endpoints in clinical trials. How to simulate in R ?
Dear R-Helpers,
Apologies in advance as this is partly (widely ?) OT. Not sure where to
ask, R is my favorite computer tool (no kidding) and there are plenty of
knowledgable and helpful people on the list.
Background: There are discussions among experts and regulatory
authorities (cf guideline

Access denied
Hello,
Samba 1.9.16p11 on Sun OS 5.6
For a NT4 Server SP4, I can not access to the samba server. When I look
at the log.MachineName file, I see the error "password server not
avalaible".
I must say that it is working fine with an NT4 SP4 server on the same
domain with the same user account.
I have change the registry to authorize non-encrypted password.
......
Thanks.
