Astricon followup
For the benefit of those outside of the USA or those unable to make it
to Astricon; I wanted to send out this email.
For those of you who attended Astricon in Dallas last week what was the
one thing that you saw that made the trip worthwhile?
(if we post enough information or comments it will be of benefit for
those that didn't attend)
For me personally it was the volume of

PXE booting UEFI
Good Afternoon,
As per the installation guide, section 30.2.2 I?ve created an efidefault file at /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux/pxelinux.cfg/efidefault
However, this file is never requested by the 64 bit PXE loader (bootx64.efi), as shown by tcpdump:
75 RRQ "/pxelinux/42272635-0011-5053-ACF2-82A100E615F2" octet tsize 0 blksize 512

Minimal ISO: GRUB UEFI has incorrect config
Hello,
I've just tried to use CentOS-6.4-x86_64-minimal.iso, but it does not work unmodified.
The grub commands used by the ISO for installation/rescue are:
kernel /images/pxeboot/vmlinuz ...
initrd /images/pxeboot/initrd.img
These paths do not exist on disk.
If I manually correct these to:
kernel /images/vmlinuz ...
initrd /images/initrd.img
The installation is able to proceed

appending similar data frames?
Dear R gang,
Can anyone help me sort out how to append one data frame to
another while adding a factor to distinguish which was the
original frame?
For example, I have two frames, x and y

nut on armhf, r-pi4b IOW
Greetings all;
Does nut build on an r-pi4b?
I have an r-pi4b running one of my cnc machines and the power bump
performance due to the size of its psu and the fairly rapid start time
of my standby generator, does not allow a full powerdown restart to take
place, leaving the pi in a crashed state.
I've purchased a factory refurbed cyberpower ups rated at 650 WA which I

Extracellular 103 268 535759
Nucleus 45603 47783 442744
#R code
myData <- read.table("table.data",

ZFS and small block random I/O
Hi,
We''re doing some benchmarking at a customer (using IOzone) and for some
specific small block random tests, performance of their X4500 is very
poor (~1.2 MB/s aggregate throughput for a 5+1 RAIDZ). Specifically,
the test is the IOzone multithreaded throughput test of an 8GB file size
and 8KB record size, with the server physmem''d to 2GB.
I noticed a couple of peculiar
