I interchanged LAN and LTE in the sentence. Do you have some kind of NAT in fron of asterisk? Or is your asterisk having public IP? Could you share sip.conf (without passwords)? ...Excellent quality in both direction. Last test: I configured my Android phone and added a VoIP-account on my Asterisk, so now I have my Android as peer in my Asterisk. Then I called my friend's phone (also logged in my Asterisk). First test was with my mobile phone in my WLAN and his phone via LTE. Terrible quality on his side (he hear me very bad), good quality on my side (I hear ihm good). Second test with *both my phone and my friend's phone* via LTE: excellent quality in both directions. Conclusion (maybe!): it can *not* be a problem in the DSL connection and *maybe* it is not a pro...

...ently added an intro (preroll) to one of our channels. Although we haven't had any direct complaints, there has been a discussion thread with some of our public radio colleagues getting complaints about users receiving a repeat of the intro many times when their device switches from WiFi to LTE or unstable Internet connections. One of our colleagues received a response from Triton Digital about "utilizing your HLS enabled mounts for streaming". I am not familiar with this technology, could someone here provide more information about how this could be used with Icecast and h...

Securing tinc config files
I cannot use dynamic dns , the remote sites connect through 4G LTE and get assigned "Private Addresses" that are NATd to a Public Address. The LTE clients can only make connections outward to the Internet and features such as PAT and Dynamic DNS will not work. Therfor for these remote sites I need a Central Server Located on Internet to peer with in orde...

...AUTION: This email originated from outside of JMU. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. ________________________________ Hi Robert, Intro files play whenever a listener client connects. If you are disconnecting from WiFi and going to LTE, for example, this is expected behavior as you are severing the connection and re-connecting. It sounds like the same type of case with users with "unstable Internet connections" as they may well be disconnected from the Icecast server and reconnect when network is available again. Iceca...

10.0.1-rc1 release has been tagged
...0.1-rc1 release. [1] shows 2 assets. 10.0.0 RCs had a lot of more assets. I am missing the llvm-project-10.0.1rc1.tar.xz tarball. Will you provide them later or is there a new development/workflow decision I do not know of? BTW, the source zip and tar.gz tarballs show no sizes. I am using Mobile LTE/UMTS to download stuff from the Internet. For now I used the "llvmorg-10.0.1-rc1" Git tag to build my llvm-toolchain on Debian/testing AMD64. Thanks. ...you mind repeating the test with canreinvite=no set for all you phones and mobile phones? What is your upload bitrate? Is it guaranteed? I would try also to test the PMTU: Try: ping -M do -s 2000 ${ip address of the sip server} You should receive icmp asking for lowering the packet size. The LTE phones could have lower MTU and thus overcome PMTU problem. Hello, this could be ip address of the different interface on the same box. I think it works like expected. The only exception would be if the sip peer ignores the icmp packet unreachable. But I doubt this is the case. Anyway you get problems also when calling to LTE phone without using sip provider. Let first concentrate on these calls LTE to LAN. Are you sure you do not block incoming icmp unreachables? At least verify type 3 subtype 4 is enabled. If it is, I have no clue what is going on.
